What is Eid ul Adha?
As per the Islamic lunar calendar, Eid ul Adha falls on the 10th day of Dhul Hajj.

Eid ul adha is one of the two
most important festivals in Islamic calendar. Eid ul adha is called as the
festival of sacrifice and it honours the willingness of Ibrahim (as) to
sacrifice his son, as an act of submission of Allah’s command, before Allah
then intervened, through his angel Jibrael and informs that his sacrifice has
been accepted. During this day Muslims around the world sacrifice animal and it
will be divided into three parts. One third of the share will be retained by
the family, another third is given to poor and needy and another third is given
to relatives, friends.
