Eid ul adha is one of the two most important festivals in Islamic calendar. Eid ul adha is called as the festival of sacrifice and it honours the willingness of Ibrahim (as) to sacrifice his son, as an act of submission of Allah’s command, before Allah then intervened, through his angel Jibrael and informs that his sacrifice has been accepted. During this day Muslims around the world sacrifice animal and it will be divided into three parts. One third of the share will be retained by the family, another third is given to poor and needy and another third is given to relatives, friends.
